The series consists of two parts taken one year apart at our place in the center of Moscow. In 2020 my family and I spent 51 day locked down, which was extremely hard for us. We only left home two times including a drive to a forest outside Moscow in April. I was so happy to be there. I started to gather plants, pick pieces of moss, sticks and whatever else you would normally find in the woods. I brought it all home and did my best to keep all the plants alive as long as I could. They were a treasure to me, fragile living things from the woods inside an apartment block made of concrete. This story is about how a home could be a prison, and about my feelings towards those pieces of wild nature yearning for freedom.
